Technologies Used
Portfolio Evolution Overview
My portfolio website has undergone multiple iterations over the years, each reflecting my growth as a developer and designer. From my first attempt in high school using raw HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, to a React-based tutoring site that earned me $3,000, to the current SvelteKit implementation - each version tells a story of learning, experimentation, and professional development.
This progression showcases not just technical skill development, but also user experience understanding and the ability to adapt to new technologies and frameworks.
Timeline Overview
First Iteration: Archive Portfolio (2021)
The Beginning: Raw HTML/CSS/JavaScript
My first portfolio website was built during early high school using pure HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I was incredibly proud of the animated sidebar navigation I created from scratch.
Key Features:
- From-scratch animated sidebar with smooth transitions
- Simple, clean design focusing on content presentation
- Basic portfolio sections including resume and projects
- Custom CSS animations and JavaScript interactions
The site served as my introduction to web development, showcasing projects like a Java stopwatch application and an "Elon Musk Game." While basic by today's standards, it represented my first serious attempt at creating a professional online presence.

Second Iteration: Tutoring Business Site (2023)
Transition to React: Business-Focused Design
Moving beyond personal portfolios, I built a dedicated tutoring website using React during my later high school years. This site was specifically designed to attract prospective tutoring clients and establish credibility as a mathematics and computer science tutor.
Business Success:
Revenue generated through client acquisition
Technical Improvements:
- Component-based architecture with React
- Professional design focused on client conversion
- Responsive layout for mobile and desktop
- Contact forms and service descriptions
- Testimonials and credentials display
This iteration marked my transition from hobbyist web development to understanding how technology could drive real business outcomes. The site successfully attracted numerous tutoring clients and validated my ability to create professional, conversion-focused web experiences.

Current Iteration: Modern SvelteKit Portfolio (2025)
Professional Development Platform
Created in summer 2025, the current portfolio represents my most sophisticated web development effort to date. Built with modern technologies and design principles, it serves as both a showcase of technical capabilities and a platform for sharing detailed project narratives.
Modern Technology Stack:
- SvelteKit for optimal performance and developer experience
- TypeScript for type safety and code quality
- Tailwind CSS for consistent, responsive design
- Component-based architecture for maintainability
Enhanced Features:
- Dark mode support with seamless switching
- Responsive design across all device sizes
- SEO optimization and performance monitoring
- Detailed project blogs with rich content
Key Improvements:
Beyond technical upgrades, this iteration focuses on storytelling and user experience. Each project includes detailed blogs explaining technical decisions, challenges overcome, and lessons learned - providing visitors with deeper insights into my development process and problem-solving approach.
Each iteration of my portfolio represents not just technical growth, but a movement towards building code that users enjoy.
